Miss Mina

Sale price€12,20

Full-bodied, juicy sweetness, vibrant acidity—a signature of Tanzania.

Miss Mina reveals a clear and vibrant profile: a juicy acidity driven by citrus, a heart of red fruits, and a natural sweetness reminiscent of light honey and ripe plum. The texture is ample, the finish clean and slightly spicy.
A bright, balanced coffee, with that little Tanzanian twist we love so much: energetic, precise and very pleasant in the cup.

Sustainability and impact

Miss Mina is part of the IMPACT Verified coffees, Sucafina's responsible sourcing program which acts on five key pillars: carbon, human rights, regenerative agriculture, living income and the fight against deforestation.
Small-scale producers benefit from stable access to the specialty market and ongoing agronomic training, strengthening their economic resilience. Polyculture systems (maize, beans, ginger, sunflower) protect the soil and diversify incomes.
Choosing Miss Mina means supporting a committed, transparent sector focused on sustainable agriculture.

Fermentation process

After a completely manual harvest, the cherries are pulped directly at the farms—using eco-pulpers or traditional pulpers. A wet fermentation then takes place before the coffee is thoroughly washed, guaranteeing a clean and expressive cup.
The coffee is dried on raised African beds for 14 to 20 days, then left to rest in warehouses for several weeks to allow the moisture content to even out. Final processing takes place at the Mbozi or Mbinga facilities before export.
A controlled process that highlights the aromatic purity and signature of Southern Tanzania.

Producer's vision

Diane Nsengiyumva, kawasili

The families who contribute to Miss Mina live on small farms in the highlands, where coffee is grown alongside other food crops. For them, this plot represents an opportunity to showcase their meticulous and demanding work, and to pass on a terroir that is still too little known.
The support from Sucafina Tanzania gives them access to training, infrastructure and a supply chain that allows them to focus their energy on what matters: producing consistent, clean coffees that are representative of their region.
Miss Mina is the expression of this collective ambition: a coffee that tells the story of the patience, care and expertise of the Southern Highlands.
