Jua Tano was born from a direct collaboration with the Kenyan Embassy in Belgium, with a clear objective: to showcase the work of small Kenyan producers and the richness of their emblematic varieties. This approach ensures transparent selection, fairer compensation, and direct access to high-quality batches from renowned terroirs.
The project supports family farms located in high-altitude areas, where coffee cultivation remains a vital economic pillar. Producers benefit from agronomic support and training programs related to soil management, crop quality, and sustainable practices.
By choosing Jua Tano, we are helping to strengthen a sector that values local know-how, the preservation of historical varieties (SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11, Batian, K7) and a more resilient agriculture for future generations.
